This step-by-step method usually requires three types of equipment, including nylon 6POY stretching false twisting machine, spandex yarn stretching machine, and nylon 6DTY and spandex stretching yarn wrapping machine. This production method has many disadvantages, such as disorderly processing procedures, long process flow, low processing speed, high energy consumption, low power, high production cost, and poor product quality. The products produced by this method are prone to problems such as uneven dyeing, poor elasticity, easy shrinkage, and unstable quality.
The production method of using nylon 6 pre oriented yarn (POY) and spandex on the same machine for stretching, false twisting, and coating processing is called one-step method, and the integrated machine produces nylon spandex air coated yarn. After stretching and false twisting, the nylon 6 deformed yarn (DTY) and spandex stretched yarn are simultaneously input into the spinner and wrapping device, forming a nylon ammonia wrapping in the high-speed vortex air inside the wrapping nozzle vortex chamber. After oiling and winding, the nylon spandex wrapped yarn is produced, completing the one-step production of nylon 6POY/spandex stretched and false twisted wrapped yarn. The wrapped yarn has the characteristics of fine wrapping, good elasticity, controllable elastic elongation, uniform quality, good quality, and excellent added value, thus achieving the intention of shortening the production process, reducing energy consumption and production costs, improving production power, product quality, and high added value.
