Polyester yarn is sun resistant, acid resistant but not alkali resistant, while nylon yarn is alkali resistant but not acid resistant, with poor light resistance. Long term exposure to sunlight will result in a decrease in fiber strength and yellowing of color. Nylon colored yarn has a smooth weaving feel and a high surface glossiness. It is widely used in sportswear, swimwear, bodybuilding clothes, and socks, and polyester fiber is the world's largest synthetic fiber. Short polyester fibers are often blended with cotton, wool, linen, viscose fibers, etc. The fabric not only adheres to the characteristics of polyester yarn such as firmness, wear resistance, stiffness, and easy preservation, but also has the characteristics of natural fiber moisture absorption, warmth retention, and low static electricity.
The similarities between polyester and nylon:
All of them are synthetic fibers in chemical fibers, with high strength, good wear resistance, poor breathability, uncomfortable and stuffy wearing, and easy to generate static electricity. They are widely used in clothing and industrial applications.
The difference between polyester and nylon:
Due to different densities, polyester fabrics are less prone to wrinkling and are stiff, with good dimensional stability and shape retention. Nylon colored fibers have poor shape retention and lack stiffness, making them prone to deformation. Polyester fibers have a melting point of 260 ℃ and can be ironed at a temperature of 180 ℃. Nylon colored fibers have poor heat resistance and should be ironed at a temperature below 140 ℃. They have good low-temperature resistance, high strength, good elasticity recovery ability, excellent wear resistance, and better moisture absorption and dyeing properties than polyester fibers.
Nylon: The luster is relatively dim, the color is not bright, the hand feel is relatively hard, and the fabric may have creases after folding, but it can slowly recover to its original state.
Polyester: It has a bright luster, but its softness is not very strong. It has a shiny effect, a smooth feel, and good elasticity. The fabric will quickly recover after folding, without creases, and is not easy to tear.

What are the characteristics of non dyed spandex?
Non dyed spandex has also been widely used in recent years. Non dyed spandex fiber can be blended with fibers such as nylon, polyester, acrylic, cotton, wool, etc., which can give fabrics excellent el
